Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated Medication Aide to join our team at Mary Gran, a part of Liberty Healthcare Management. This full-time evening position offers a rewarding opportunity to administer medication, provide essential care to residents, and ensure a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer medication following Medication Administration policies and procedures.
- Perform vital procedures such as vital signs and enemas with ethical and moral conduct.
- Implement universal precautions and hazardous chemical procedures for safety.
- Document and report any medication errors promptly.
- Ensure accurate medication counts and follow proper shift change protocols.
Requirements
- Must be registered on the NA1 registry with a clean record.
- Complete state-approved training program and orientation.
- Possess adequate communication and physical abilities to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs regularly.
