Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity at Three Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center for the role of Medication Technician. As a Medication Technician, you will be responsible for administering medication according to set policies and procedures, ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication following established protocols, excluding specific types of medication administration.
• Perform delegated duties within the scope of certification.
• Continuously educate yourself through workshops and in-service classes.
• Conduct procedures such as vital signs monitoring and other medical tasks.
• Document all necessary information as per facility policies.
• Report any medication errors promptly.
• Manage controlled substance medications and adhere to proper procedures.
• Effectively communicate with residents, families, and visitors.

Requirements

• Registered on the NAI registry with a clean record of abuse or neglect allegations.
• Completion of state-approved training program and competency evaluation.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs regularly or at least 10 times per shift.
