Nurse Practitioner - APRN (Mid-Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner - APRN (Mid-Level) to join our team at Cibola General Hospital. As a mid-level provider, you will be responsible for providing accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, consultation, education, and follow-up care to patients of all ages.

Primary Functions

• Examine patients and record their medical history.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary.
• Administer treatments and medications.
• Promote patient health through education on preventive care.
• Perform minor surgical procedures.
• Refer patients to specialists when needed.
• Report critical health conditions to appropriate authorities.

Education and Experience

• Must hold and maintain an active State of New Mexico license.
• Current National Board Certification is required.
• DEA certification is necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Effective collaboration with colleagues for quality healthcare delivery.

Additional Qualifications

• Prior experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.
