Job Description
Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a per diem basis during daytime hours. As an RN with Liberty Healthcare, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality nursing care for our patients, in adherence to physician orders, state and federal regulations, and facility policies.
Responsibilities
- Assure quality nursing care by following physician's orders, regulations, and facility policies.
- Administer prescribed medications and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
- Assist physicians with rounds, patient care, and treatments as necessary.
- Maintain infection control measures and adhere to cleanliness regulations.
- Assist with nursing care research and documentation tasks.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a valid RN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Provide high-quality nursing care with a focus on geriatrics.
- Stay current with CPR certification and attend necessary training and meetings.
- Display flexibility, cooperativeness, and the ability to work well with diverse teams.
- Demonstrate sound decision-making skills and competence in nursing problem-solving.
