Job Description

Join Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services as a Part-Time Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality nursing care to patients while upholding state and federal regulations and facility procedures. Collaborate with physicians and supervise nursing assistants to ensure exceptional patient care and maintain infection control measures.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
• Assist with patient rounds, examinations, and treatments as needed.
• Perform scheduled treatments during the shift and ensure proper documentation.
• Adhere to regulations related to cleanliness, infection control, and universal precautions.
• Support research related to the quality of nursing care as assigned.
• Assist in admissions, scheduling patient physicals, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an RN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Maintain CPR certification yearly.
• Attend required in-service training and staff meetings.
• Ability to make critical nursing decisions, supervise staff effectively, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
