Job Description

Responsibilities
- Furnish services, treatments, and diagnostic procedures as per the plan of care, following agency policies.
- Prepare clinical and progress notes.
- Assist patients in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
- Initiate appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
- Observe signs and symptoms, and report reactions to treatments to physicians.
- Teach and counsel patients and families/significant others regarding nursing care needs.
- Attend staff meetings, patient care conferences, and in-services as scheduled.
- Observe confidentiality and safeguards all patient-related information.
- Complete documentation and paperwork promptly per Agency policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
- Maintains a current CPR certification, and BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (preferred).
- Pediatric experience (preferred).
