Discover Financial Services is seeking a Senior Associate Vulnerability Analyst (Penetration Tester) to join our team. As part of this role, you will analyze and assess technologies, focusing on compliance, vulnerability, and threat landscapes. Responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing on internal company assets.
• Analyze cyber defense procedures and configurations, ensuring compliance.
• Develop metrics to enhance security measures.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture.
• Engage in risk remediation and automation initiatives.
• Maintain expertise in cybersecurity concepts and technologies.
• Provide actionable intelligence through reports and briefings.
• Contribute to security discussions and guide assessment assignments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business, or Analytics.
• 2+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Web Application and network testing.
• Proficiency in tools like BURP Suite and other Pen Testing suites.
• Bug Bounty or CTF experience is a plus.
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Excellent documentation and troubleshooting skills.
• Industry certifications are desirable.
