1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing shipments to stores. The role involves collaborating with the warehouse team, ensuring warehouse appearance standards, and contributing to inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock.
• Relocate merchandise based on handling guidelines.
• Load and unload shipments effectively.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Cooperate with team members and leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality and safety.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare deliveries.
• Engage in various physical activities in the warehouse.
• Work in different temperature environments.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
