Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing construction costs on a national level, collaborating with divisional real estate teams to evaluate construction bids. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, architecture, or engineering, with a focus on ensuring that construction costs align with project scopes and regional cost trends.

Responsibilities

• Work with Construction Managers to negotiate with contractors.
• Provide pricing data and practices to ensure consistent pricing structure.
• Analyze bids and create reports for project awards.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor market pricing for critical trades.
• Collaborate with team members and provide leadership with pricing forecasts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Construction Estimating.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction cost estimation tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
