1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently hiring for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler position at Aldi. This is a full-time role with an average of 30-35 hours per week, starting at a competitive wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently fulfilling orders, handling merchandise, maintaining warehouse standards, and supporting warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning and maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and safety compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and follow warehouse guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficient execution.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk frequently throughout the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
