1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a warehouse stocker, you will play a crucial role in efficiently fulfilling orders, handling merchandise, and maintaining warehouse standards. This full-time position offers a starting wage of up to $19.50 - $23.50 per hour based on shift differentials.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Assist in achieving warehouse goals and process improvements.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive, and organizational skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds and operate industrial equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
