1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are currently seeking full-time 1st Shift Warehouse Stockers to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, relocating, sorting, loading, and unloading merchandise in our warehouse. You will collaborate with your team members and warehouse leadership to ensure the seamless operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment.
• Stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures.
