Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at Aldi. As a warehouse worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient receipt, selection, and delivery of products to our stores, contributing to the satisfaction of our growing customer base. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week and a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and cooperate effectively with team members and leadership.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, resilience, and drive for success.
- Excellent communication, organization, and efficiency skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
- Work in varying temperatures and perform physical tasks throughout the warehouse.
