Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at Aldi. As a Full-Time employee, you will work an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $20.75 - $26.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. The 1st Shift starts at 7:00 AM, and various schedules are available, each offering different day-offs and work arrangements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Conduct inventory counts and communicate effectively with the team.
- Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving goals.
- Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Operate equipment safely and report any issues.
- Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Job Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
- Demonstrate conscientious behavior, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
- Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and follow instructions with attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
