1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join Aldi's team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing and loading merchandise, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and assisting in inventory counts. You will collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to ensure operational excellence and contribute ideas for process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately and fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines and prepare shipments for delivery.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide feedback for process enhancement.
• Operate equipment safely and report any quality or safety concerns.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency in the workplace.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, good communication skills, attention to detail, and basic math skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in various temperatures, stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse.
