1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at Aldi. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour. As a warehouse worker, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. Our warehouse environment includes both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will receive thorough training to ensure success in your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product for quality and safety.
• Adhere to ergonomic and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientious, collaborative, positive, resilient, and success-driven behaviors.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
