Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Customer Service and Stock Specialist. In this full-time role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining our store's appearance, handling cashier duties, and providing exceptional customer service. You'll collaborate with team members, ensure merchandise displays are attractive, and assist customers in their shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases and maintain neat merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts according to guidelines.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Efficient cash register operation and customer service skills.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and follow company cleaning standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
