Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Your role will involve working collaboratively with the Aldi team to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and provide excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and follow cash policies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring document security.
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds, and general store maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Work experience in retail preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Equivalency in education and experience is considered.
