Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures.
- Comply with established policies and ensure confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Physical Demands
- Stock merchandise and place products on shelves.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform physical tasks.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Operate cash register efficiently.
- Safely operate necessary equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Work independently and in a team setting.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions.
- Meet necessary requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
