Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. This role involves merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. As a crucial part of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service and work collaboratively with ALDI employees to enhance the shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Carry out assigned duties efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Adept at working independently and in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a retail environment is a plus.
