Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by handling merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the Aldi team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly display merchandise.
- Provide top-notch customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling procedures.
- Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and perform assigned duties.
Physical Demands
- Stock and arrange products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves.
- Engage in various physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and walking.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
- Proficiency in using equipment like a floor scrubber and following company cleaning standards.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
