Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store’s cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Give feedback on products, inventory losses, and other issues
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and maintain data security
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient cash register operation
- Safe operation of store equipment
- Ability to clean and maintain store standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Work well in a team and independently
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Combination of education and experience equivalent
