Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store while providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with the ALDI team and enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Aldi's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Provide excellent customer service, assist customers during their shopping journey.
- Work closely with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Efficient cash register operation and excellent customer service skills.
- Able to operate store equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
- Good verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
