Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, the shelves are stocked, and customers receive exceptional service. This position involves cashiering, merchandising, and maintaining cleanliness to create a pleasant shopping environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
- Offer feedback on products, handle inventory, and follow cash policies
- Adhere to company procedures and ensure security and confidentiality
- Participate in store inventory counts and perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement is 18
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Capability to handle general cleaning duties and follow company policies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Educational background with relevant experience considered
