Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to create an exceptional shopping environment for customers. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will provide outstanding customer service and contribute to a positive shopping experience for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and report feedback to management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
- Follow company policies and uphold security and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate equipment such as electric/manual hand jack and floor scrubber
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Work independently and in a team environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience preferred
