Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate at ALDI, your role involves merchandising, product stocking, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide an exceptional customer shopping experience. You will collaborate with the ALDI team, demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills, and uphold company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and ensure merchandise displays are orderly.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products and inventory matters.
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain cash policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Proficiency in customer service and cash register operation.
- Ability to use equipment like a hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol handling.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience is considered.
