Job Description
We are hiring for the position of Local City Driver / Forklift Operator in Reno, NV. This is a full-time opportunity to join ABF Freight, one of the country's largest and most trusted LTL carriers. As part of the ABF Freight team, you will be responsible for the safe pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations and the loading and unloading of trailers.
General Description of Duties
- Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations near the consolidation/distribution center.
- Loading and unloading of trailers using standard techniques and procedures.
- Duties and schedules may vary based on terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required (training available for candidates with less experience).
- Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements, with no automatic restriction.
- Stable work record and safe driving history.
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet medical requirements.

Starting pay for this position in accordance with the Nevada labor code is $27.35 per hour.
