Job Description
We are hiring a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight in Reno, NV. As part of our expanding company, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo and the safe operation of forklifts. General Description of Duties
- Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations in close proximity to the consolidation/distribution center.
- Utilize proper techniques, technology, and procedures for loading and unloading trailers with the same care as a dock worker.
- Duties and schedules may vary by terminal location.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience. (Candidates with less than 1 year experience may be eligible for training).
- Hold a Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements without automatic restrictions.
- Stable work record with a safe driving history (verified by MVR and previous employment).
- Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.
