Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by operating registers or machinery, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing excellent customer service.

Position Details

• Job Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include collaborating with team members, ensuring document security, cashier duties such as processing purchases, cleaning, and inventory management, as well as stocking responsibilities like product rotation, merchandising, and operating machinery.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Effective communication skills
• Work independently and in a team environment

Requirements

• Cashier: Operate cash register efficiently and comply with regulations for alcoholic beverages
• Stocker: Operate equipment safely including electric/manual hand jack and floor scrubber
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
