Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Cardiology Medical Surgical department at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a PCT, you will work under the supervision of nursing and medical staff to assist patients with daily activities, monitor patient progress, record vital signs, collect specimens, provide basic patient transport, and perform housekeeping duties. This role requires compassion, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Monitor and report patients’ progress to the medical team.
• Record vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping support.
• Measure and record patients' intake and output, and assist with range of motion exercises.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification is mandatory.
• Preferred: Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification, or enrollment in nursing school.
• Preferred: Two years of experience in acute or long-term care.
