Job Description: Store Operations Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides an excellent customer experience. Your duties will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the store.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTs Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and other relevant issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies, uphold security, and confidentiality standards.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent customer service and cash register skills.
• Operational knowledge of retail equipment.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Meet local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
