Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide an exceptional customer shopping experience.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and provide outstanding customer service
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Follow company policies and maintain document security
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Efficient cash register operation
- Operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
