1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi's team. As an essential part of the warehouse operations, you will be responsible for receiving and organizing stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with the warehouse team and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse standards.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated concern for quality, safety, and teamwork.
• Ability to adapt positively to challenges and changes.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds and operate industrial equipment.
