Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Community Bank President/Ag Lender to join Bank Iowa Corporation in Newton. In this role, you will be responsible for generating quality Ag and Commercial loans, representing Bank Iowa in the community, and leading a team of Relationship Managers and Loan Assistants. You will play a crucial part in building relationships with clients, leading in civic and community activities, and contributing to the bank's growth and community development efforts.
Responsibilities
- Lead and champion the bank's values, culture, and strategic direction as the primary representative in the community.
- Manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio, fostering client relationships and business growth within the Southeast Iowa Region.
- Participate in community activities to establish the bank as a center of influence and drive loan and deposit growth goals.
- Approve loans within specified limits and collaborate with management on loan applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Economics, or related field with 7+ years of experience in lending and banking.
- Strong Agriculture background preferred with extensive supervisory and management experience.
- Leadership, credit analysis, underwriting, and sales experience are advantageous.
