Responsibilities
- Provide personalized 1:1 instruction tailored to participants' skill levels and goals.
- Develop instrumental technique(s) on various instruments with a focus on proficiency and musicality.
- Cultivate performance abilities for solo and ensemble performances.
- Instruct on advanced musical skills like music notation, audition preparation, and improvisation.
- Collaborate to prepare participants for showcases and conduct periodic assessments.
Qualifications
- Strong background in music education and performance.
- Proficiency in one or more musical instruments.
- Excellent teaching and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate students of all ages and skill levels.
- Knowledge of music theory, notation, auditioning, and performance preparation.
- Creativity and flexibility in adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Access to musical instruments is a plus.
