Job Description
Position Overview:
The Server is a key team member responsible for delivering the Silver Diner brand to guests by providing exceptional hospitality, generating sales, and handling food & beverage orders efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and provide outstanding service.
- Ensure accurate order delivery and suggestively sell to guests.
- Ring in orders promptly and handle payment transactions effectively.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and actively pre-bus tables.
- Work collaboratively with the team and complete assigned tasks.
Brand Delivery:
- Maintain a positive attitude and adhere to brand standards.
- Follow uniform standards and uphold SMG scoring criteria.
Cost Balancing:
- Account for all sales accurately and handle cash appropriately.
- Ensure proper portioning of self-service items.
Performance Measures:
- Drive positive sales growth and maintain guest satisfaction.
- Develop strong relationships with guests.
Required Education & Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of serving or bartending experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
