Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the store is well-organized, customer-friendly, and stocked with products to cater to our shoppers' needs. Your role will involve cashiering, merchandising, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment to enhance the overall shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly, providing full availability of products.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with inquiries and purchases.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Monitor and report product inventory, losses, and any operational issues.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to ensure minimal losses.
- Comply with company policies and procedures to uphold store security and confidentiality.
- Contribute to store inventory taking and accuracy according to guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Ability to operate store equipment effectively and safely.
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to maintain store standards.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Able to work independently and within a team setting.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
- Meeting state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
