Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, and maintaining cleanliness within the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies, maintain security, and uphold confidentiality.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash register and other store equipment.
- Interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Retail experience is a plus.
