Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store's success by merchandising products, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and monitor for accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies, procedures, and company guidelines
- Perform store inventory counts and ensure adherence to policies
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Maintain cleanliness to company standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
