Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc. (AWG) is seeking a Lead Grocery Store Designer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for design and construction coordination for all phases of grocery store development in the Kansas City Division. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and retail members to create efficient and visually appealing store layouts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop floor plans for new and existing retail facilities.
• Recommend building and equipment components for grocery stores.
• Coordinate construction and equipment installation.
• Supervise building construction and review project budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail grocery industry design.
• Proficient in CAD software and construction management techniques.
• Strong technical aptitude and effective relationship building skills.
• 2-5 years of experience in grocery store design or related field.
