Job Description

The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking Licensed Nurse Assistants (LNA) to join the team at Shep 3 North, a new long-term, alternative care unit opening in March 2024. As an LNA, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing direct and indirect patient care. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, responding to call lights, Electronic Medical Record documentation, and personal care tasks such as bathing, mouth care, toileting, and skin care. The ideal candidates will be reliable, flexible, compassionate, and empathetic, with a strong sense of teamwork and a focus on patient care excellence. Strong time management skills are essential for this fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • LNA licensure within the State of Vermont.
  • Long Term Care experience preferred.
