Job Description
We are hiring a PRN Social Worker to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. As a part of our Allied Health team at Levindale Hospital, you will provide clinical social work services to patients and families, addressing a variety of common challenges. This role involves assisting with adjustment to institutional living, financial concerns, family relationships, counseling for medical-related issues, discharge planning, and end-of-life support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide clinical social work services.
- Assist patients and families with various issues related to institutional living and medical procedures.
- Offer counseling and support for end-of-life care and death and dying topics.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in social work.
- Licensed social worker (LBSW, LMSW, LGPC).
- Strong knowledge of social work theory and practice.
