1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join the team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks, including receiving and stocking merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with team members and leadership. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to company policies, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
