1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. Starting wage ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. The shift starts at 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrates conscientious behavior, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
