Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi. This full-time position offers competitive wages and benefits. As a team member, you will be responsible for efficiently handling merchandise, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating effectively with peers and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock promptly.
• Handle merchandise according to guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and safety.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality and safety.
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
• Driven for success and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented and follows instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Perform various physical tasks like bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate equipment safely.
