1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the Aldi team. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week at a competitive starting wage of up to $19.50 - $23.50 per hour. As a key member of the warehouse, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, relocating merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with the team to achieve warehouse goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and cooperate with a team.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficient organization and execution skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and walking in varying temperatures.
