1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi's warehouse operations team. In this part-time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. The starting wage for this role is $23.75 per hour, with an average workweek of fewer than 30 hours.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect products for quality and safety; report issues to management.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently in line with company policies.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
