Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately and efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
- Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Contribute ideas for process improvement to warehouse management.
- Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Perform all tasks accurately and according to company procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 for employment at Aldi.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.
- Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
- Move merchandise throughout the warehouse and prepare for delivery.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
- Work in varying temperatures and environments.
