Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
- Provide input for process improvement to enhance warehouse operations.
- Inspect product quality and assist in achieving operational goals.
- Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.
- Perform tasks efficiently and in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
