Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week and a starting wage ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour, depending on the schedule. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
- Move and organize merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Load and unload shipments, keeping in mind safety and efficiency.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and appearance standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
- Suggest process improvements to warehouse management.
- Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Operate within set guidelines for safety and product handling.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 to work at Aldi.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, and drive for success.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Basic arithmetic skills for inventory management.
- Physical ability to lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
